David K. Spencer
David founded Spencer Legal in 2012 after over 20 years working in tax law. He started his legal career in the tax department of Sullivan & Cromwell and has since worked at Bank of America, HSBC and BNP Paribas as a front office banker at various desks including structured products, equity derivatives and tax equity placement. David received his J.D. (magna cum laude, Order of the Coif) and LL.M. (Tax Policy Fellowship recipient) from New York University School of Law in 1999 and 2000, respectively.
Mark Davis
Mark joined Spencer Legal in 2022 as a Corporate Attorney. He has over 15 years of U.S. domestic and international legal experience in a variety of debt and equity finance, and other commercial, transactions. He spent the first ten years of his career as a project finance attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and at Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges, both in San Francisco. He then practiced several years as senior corporate counsel at two publicly traded energy companies. Mark received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1991.
Eileen Suh
Eileen joined Spencer Legal as a Corporate Attorney in 2020. She works with clients on corporate law matters, including equity capital, leverage, mergers & acquisitions, corporate minutes and decision making, and contractual negotiation and drafting. Previously, Eileen was a corporate attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton in the corporate law department. Eileen received her J.D. from the William and Mary School of Law in 2001.
